Lab space

Each faculty member has a self-contained suite featuring a large central room with several smaller adjoining testing rooms. Lab equipment includes

  • State of the art eyetrackers
  • high-density electroencephalograph
  • 3D audio equipment for testing sound localization
  • testing with unmanned aerial vehicle (drones)
  • night vision goggles
  • EMOTLAB software enables the researcher to create a virtual social interaction in which participants are videotaped while engaging in a negotiation task with a partner in the next cubicle
  • Chronos, a multifunctional response and stimulus device designed to collect tactile, auditory, visual, and analog responses with precise timing in various settings
  • Ergodex DX1 Input System, a tool for investigating how different layouts of keys influence human performance.
